Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to the questions finance, HR and fleet teams ask most when evaluating MYLEASE.

Getting Started

MYLEASE is India’s trusted corporate mobility partner, serving enterprises that need operating lease, employee car programmes, Tool for Trade, EV leasing and fleet management. We work with CFOs, HR leaders and fleet administrators across IT, manufacturing, healthcare, BFSI, GCCs and more.

Submit a proposal request through our website or email hello@mylease.in. A MYLEASE relationship manager will schedule a consultation to understand your fleet size, policy requirements, locations and vehicle preferences — then deliver a tailored proposal.

Timelines depend on programme scope and vehicle availability. For standard operating lease programmes, onboarding can begin within days of agreement execution. Employee lease rollouts are structured in phases to align with HR calendars and payroll cycles.

Leasing & Contracts

In an operating lease, MYLEASE retains ownership and your organisation pays for usage over the contract term — preserving capital and eliminating resale risk. Finance lease structures transfer substantially all risks and rewards of ownership and are treated differently for accounting purposes.

Operating lease tenures typically range from 12 to 60 months depending on vehicle category, usage patterns and your fleet policy. MYLEASE structures each contract to align with your operational requirements and financial planning cycles.

At end of term, you may renew the vehicle on a new contract, return it, or purchase at a pre-agreed residual value — depending on your programme structure. MYLEASE provides clear options and timelines well before contract expiry.

Tax, Billing & Finance

Lease rentals are subject to GST as applicable under current regulations. MYLEASE invoices clearly itemise rental components, GST and any pass-through charges. Your finance team should consult their tax advisor on input tax credit eligibility based on vehicle usage and business purpose.

Inclusions depend on your programme design. Typical operating lease rentals cover the vehicle, insurance and maintenance. Additional services — roadside assistance, replacement vehicles, fuel management — can be bundled based on your requirements. Every proposal states inclusions explicitly.

MYLEASE consolidates billing across locations into unified monthly statements. Cost centres, business units and employee-level allocations can be structured to match your internal reporting requirements — reducing reconciliation effort for finance teams.

MYLEASE One & Support

MYLEASE One is our corporate mobility platform. Manage vehicles, raise service requests, access documents and track fleet operations from one secure digital workspace — supported by dedicated human relationship managers.

MYLEASE manages insurance placement, renewals and claims coordination as part of your lease programme. Your team receives proactive renewal reminders and dedicated support through claims — without managing multiple vendor relationships.

Preventive maintenance schedules are tracked by MYLEASE based on vehicle type and usage. Service reminders, workshop coordination and status updates are managed through your relationship manager and MYLEASE One — keeping vehicles road-ready with minimal admin for your team.
